Information We Collect
We designed the Côté Caçuá app to protect your privacy and minimize data collection:
- No Account Required: You do not need to create an account or sign in to browse dishes, check market hours, or use the app.
- On-Device Preferences: Your saved dish bookmarks, preferred name, and notification settings remain stored locally on your device using on-device storage.
- Order & Contact Messages: When you choose to submit a pre-order inquiry or contact message directly through the app, you provide your name and phone number or email address so that Côté Caçuá can contact you to confirm your order. This information is used strictly to fulfill your request and is not sold or shared with third parties.
- WhatsApp Orders: If you choose to order via WhatsApp, the app creates a pre-filled draft message and hands it off to your WhatsApp application. Your communication occurs directly on WhatsApp under WhatsApp's privacy policy.
Analytics & Tracking
The Côté Caçuá app does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. We do not use third-party advertising identifiers, marketing trackers, or external profiling SDKs.
Data Retention & Security
Contact and pre-order requests are transmitted securely over TLS/HTTPS directly to our Canadian server. We retain order contact messages only as long as needed to fulfill customer service and business records.
